PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Phosphor bronze woven mesh is a metal mesh made of copper, tin (5% to 8 %) and phosphorus (0.03 % to 0.35%) alloy wires. The addition of tin enhances the corrosion resistance and strength of the mesh, while the addition of phosphorus increases its wear resistance and rigidity. Phosphor bronze woven mesh can be added with other elements to give it unique characteristics depending on the specific application.
Phosphor bronze is the "performance champion" among copper-based alloys. The excellent performance of phosphor bronze woven mesh comes from this:
1. Ultra-high electrical and thermal conductivity: The copper-based properties make its electrical/thermal conductivity second only to pure copper and far superior to stainless steel.
2. Excellent elasticity and fatigue resistance: The addition of phosphorus significantly improves the elastic limit and fatigue resistance of the alloy. At the same time, it can recover to its original shape after repeated bending, vibration or pressure, and is not prone to permanent deformation (plastic deformation).
3. Excellent wear resistance: The hardness is higher than pure copper and brass, and the friction and wear resistance is outstanding.

1. Anti-corrosion environment: Avoid using in environments containing ammonia, ammonium salts, nitric acid and strong oxidation. In moist sulfur-containing environments (such as industrial atmosphere), bronze sulfide is easily generated on the surface and becomes dark, but it does not affect the conductivity. In important occasions, tin-plated phosphor bronze woven mesh can be selected to enhance corrosion resistance and solderability.
2. Stress control: Although the relaxation resistance is good, the design should avoid being in the extreme deformation state for a long time.
3. Cleaning and maintenance: Use alcohol or special metal cleaner to clean, strong acid and alkali are prohibited.
4. Weaving specifications: Select appropriate wire diameter, hole diameter (mesh number) and weaving density according to current size, shielding effectiveness and elasticity requirements. Fine wires are often used for high elasticity requirements.
