PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Stainless Steel Wire- Weaving & Braiding Wire

Stainless steel weaving & braiding wire is a stainless steel wire specially used for weaving various mesh products (such as weaving & braiding mesh, screen mesh, filter mesh, rope cable, protective net, etc.) .

Stainless steel weaving & braiding wire can be bent and wound repeatedly without breaking, so it needs to have high fatigue resistance and good plastic deformation ability. Usually it is achieved through annealing (bright annealing or softening) to reduce hardness and improve ductility.

In addition, the surface of the wire needs to be smooth without burrs or scratches to avoid abrasion of equipment or wire jams during weaving. Bright annealed (BA) surface is the most common, combining beauty and corrosion resistance.

The diameter of stainless steel braiding wire is strictly controlled to ensure uniform braiding mesh and stable structure.

Commonly used stainless steel wire materials:

- 304 (06Cr19Ni10): general purpose, resistant to atmosphere, weak acid and weak alkali environments.

- 316 (06Cr17Ni12Mo2): contains molybdenum, resistant to chloride corrosion (seawater, chemical environment).

- 316L: Ultra-low carbon, resistant to intergranular corrosion, used for welding or high temperature scenes.

- Special alloys: such as 904L and Hastelloy, used in extreme environments such as strong acid and high temperature.

 

Stainless steel weaving & braiding wire has high strength and wear resistance . Although it is softened by annealing, it still maintains the basic strength of stainless steel (tensile strength of about 500-700 MPa), and the hardness can be moderately increased through cold working to meet the wear resistance requirements.

 

Stainless steel weaving & braiding wire is resistant to high and low temperatures . Austenitic stainless steel has stable performance at -200℃~800℃ (the upper limit of 316L is slightly lower), and is suitable for high-temperature filtration (such as boiler filters) or low-temperature environments.

Stainless steel braiding wire is hygienic and safe , uncoated, non-toxic, and complies with FDA (food) and GMP (drug) standards, and can directly contact food or pharmaceutical products.
