Stainless Steel Woven Wire Mesh--- Reverse Twill Dutch Weave (RTDW)

Reverse Twill Dutch Weave (RTDW):

Combines a reverse wire arrangement with a 2/2 twill pattern.

Advantage: Combines RTDW strength with twill's benefits; very high mechanical strength, good flow & filtration, ideal for high-pressure/wearsuitable for heavy mechanical loads.

Disadvantage: Complex structure; generally used for demanding conditions where its unique combination of features is essential.

Advantages

Disadvantages

Best Used For

Plain Dutch (PDW)

High rigidity/strength; easy to clean and backflush; cost-effective.

Limited to micron ratings above ~45µm; triangular pores can be hard to deep-clean.

Slurry/liquid separation; fuel and water treatment.

Twill Dutch (TDW)

Extreme precision (down to 2µm); very high mechanical stability under pressure.

Higher flow resistance; prone to clogging; poor regenerability.

Critical high-pressure gas/liquid filtration; aerospace.

Reverse Plain Dutch (RPD)

Highest warp-direction strength; high flow rate; superior contaminant retention.

Pore size is often less consistent than regular Dutch weaves.

Filtration belts; vertical/horizontal pressure leaf filters; centrifuges.

Reverse Twill Dutch (RTD)

Combines high strength with smooth surface; minimal warp wire distortion; handles high mechanical stress.

Complex manufacturing; may have less stress resistance in certain configurations compared to RPD.

High-pressure polymer filtration; continuous filter screens.
