Reverse Plain Dutch Weave (RPDW):
Reverses the wire sizes; features thin warp wires and thick weft wires.
Advantage: Coarse wires in weft (flow direction), fine in warp (filter direction); excellent flow, resists blinding, good filter cake, easy backwashing.Higher active filtration cross-section and better contaminant retention than standard PDW.
Disadvantage: Weft wires can deform under extreme pressure; less strength in flow direction than twill.
