The cylinder metal filter tube is a cylindrical structure composed of single or multi-layer stainless steel woven mesh.

The cylinder metal filter tube can be used for recycled plastic extrusion (high impurity raw material processing) such as


1. Recycled plastics (such as HDPE bottle flakes, LDPE films) contain a lot of labels, sand, and metal debris. Use a single-layer coarse-pore stainless steel 304 ( economical and corrosion-resistant ) woven mesh (pore size 0.5~2mm) to quickly intercept large particles of foreign matter.

2. During the production of recycled PP sheets , a single-layer mesh cylinder filter is used to intercept unbroken bottle cap fragments and protect the screw from wear.

3. PVC recycling granulation , multi-layer woven mesh filter tube step-by-step filtration to reduce the impurity content in the melt.


The cylinder metal filter tube is used for rubber and elastomer extrusion (anti-clogging requirements) such as:

1. In the production of tire rubber and silicone seal strips, it is necessary to filter the fibers and burnt rubber blocks in the mixing process. Use a single-layer large-aperture stainless steel 316 woven mesh (resistant to vulcanization corrosion), which is resistant to clogging and easy to clean.

2. EPDM automotive sealing strip: A 2mm aperture mesh filter tube is used to intercept metal wires and undispersed fillers in the rubber to reduce carbon deposits on the die head.

3. Silicone tube extrusion: Multi-layer woven mesh filter tube (outer layer 1mm → inner layer 0.3mm) filters tiny gel particles to ensure a smooth surface.


The cylinder metal filter tubes are used for general plastic extrusion (balancing cost and efficiency) such as:

1. PP/PE pipes, packaging films and other products with medium requirements for filtration accuracy. Use stainless steel 304 (suitable for non-corrosive melts) double-layer woven mesh filter (outer layer coarse pores + inner layer fine pores) to take into account both flow and filtration effect.

2. HDPE water pipe extrusion: Use a 100μm pore size double-layer mesh filter tube to intercept unmelted particles in the raw material and avoid the appearance of "crystal points" on the pipe wall.

3. LDPE agricultural film production: 50μm pore size single-layer mesh tube filters carbonized impurities and reduces black spots on the film surface.


The cylinder metal filter tube is used for filling masterbatch and masterbatch extrusion (anti-agglomeration requirements)                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

1.Glass fiber reinforced plastics and color masterbatch processing require the dispersion of fillers and the filtration of agglomerates. Use a multi-layer woven mesh filter (such as 500μm→200μm→80μm) to break up agglomerates step by step.                                        

2. Glass fiber reinforced PA66 extrusion: Use a 200μm pore size multi-layer filter cylinder to break up glass fiber agglomerations and improve the mechanical properties of the product.                        

3. ABS masterbatch granulation: 100μm filter cylinder filters undispersed pigment particles to ensure color uniformity.

Selection Recommendations

1. Pore size matching raw material impurities:

- Recycled material/filler: Select a pore size ≥ 1.5 times the maximum impurity size of the raw material (e.g. impurity 1mm → select 1.5mm mesh).

- Transparent products: A smaller pore size (e.g. ≤100μm) is required to intercept microgels and carbonized spots.

2. Layer selection:

- High impurity load: Multi-layer gradient woven mesh (outer layer coarse filtration → inner layer fine filtration) extends service life.

- Low viscosity melt (such as LDPE): a single-layer mesh tube can meet the needs.

3. Material adaptation conditions:

- Halogen-containing materials (such as PVC): Choose 316L or titanium alloy for corrosion resistance.

- High temperature engineering plastics (such as PEEK): Select nickel-based alloys (Inconel) that can withstand temperatures above 500°C.
