Pure nickel woven mesh (Nickel 200/201) is irreplaceable in extreme working conditions due to its excellent corrosion resistance, high temperature stability and special electromagnetic properties.

1. Strong alkaline environment filtration (core application)
Scenario: Chlor-alkali industry (50% NaOH electrolyte), viscose fiber production (concentrated alkaline solution)
Advantages: Alkali corrosion-resistant rolled stainless steel (316L is only resistant to 80°C in >40% NaOH, and nickel mesh is resistant to 120°C), with a dense NiO passivation film formed on the surface, and the service life is more than 3 times that of titanium mesh
Common specifications: 80-200 mesh plain weave, wire diameter 0.10.3mm
2. High-temperature fluorine-containing gas filtration
Scenario: Nuclear fuel processing (UF₆ gas), lithium battery positive electrode material sintering furnace (containing HF flue gas)
Performance: Tolerant to HF concentration ≤5% at 800°C (30 minutes perforation of stainless steel); low thermal expansion coefficient (13.3×10⁻⁶/℃), high temperature dimensional stability
Structure: multi-layer sintered felt (enhanced creep resistance)
3. Electrolytic electrode core material
Application: cathode mesh of ion membrane electrolyzer (replacing traditional wire mesh), cathode end plate conductive meshfor water electrolysis to produce hydrogen
Advantages: hydrogen evolution overpotential is 200mV lower than stainless steel → energy consumption is reduced by 10%; resistivity is 6.8×10⁻⁸Ω·m (1/4 of titanium)
4. Electromagnetic shielding body
Scene: spacecraft cabin shielding, high-precision laboratory (anti-electromagnetic pulse)
Principle: nickel's magnetic permeability (μ=110) absorbs + reflects electromagnetic waves

5. Molten metal filtration
Application: high-temperature alloy casting (nickel-based single crystal blades), precious metal purification

Structure: three-dimensional nickel foam (porosity 90%)
6. Special reactor lining
Scenarios: hydrogenation reactor (pharmaceutical/pesticide synthesis), nuclear fusion experimental device
Function: anti-hydrogen embrittlement (nickel hydrogen absorption rate is only 1/10 of stainless steel); resistant to hydrazine (N₂H₄), liquid ammonia and other reducing media corrosion

Note: Nickel mesh is inferior to stainless steel in sulfur-containing media (H₂S), so be careful when choosing!
